When it’s right, it’s easy.
This could be said about most things in life.
And it really should be said, because it’s true.
The screenwriter should abide by this motto/philosophy, in my opinion.
When you find the “right” story, writing becomes effortless. It is exciting and riveting and the passion is literally coarsing through your veins. You completely lose track of time, full enveloped in a canopy of creativity. It’s like magic. It is magic.
I often feel that when writers are struggling to sit down and work on their story, it’s usually because the idea is missing something kinetic.
Whether or not that idea needs to be re-tooled, revamped, or scrapped is up to you.
