Let go of "Breaking In" to Hollywood as a screenwriter & focus on selling each Script

Good evening, my fellow writers.
The Hollywood chaos and chatter is at an all time high, as we push even closer to the big strike this coming Monday (potentially, it will be settled?). I don’t want to speak on it; it’s out of our control. What is in our control — our career, our stories, our friggin’ destiny. Yes, destiny.
I often feel like making it as a writer is truly a game of persistence and belief. If you believe you stand a chance of making it, you’ll push past the hurdles and roadblocks and non-stop series of rejections. Until you forge your way in. It’s why I push so hard on y’all to tune out the noise, and focus on the craft and your stories.
Speaking of stories:
One of the greatest tales ever told is the idea that Hollywood is this big-old club that you just need to break the door down to, and then you have a VIP pass to life. I can promise you, this is not true; okay, maybe for some. But then again, we’ve even heard tales of those at the top, falling from grace, only to find themselves wandering around Europe on a bicycle.
