Everyone’s trying to reinvent the wheel. And in the arts, it’s easy to understand why. You reinvent the wheel and you end up with the next Pulp Fiction. A movie that gets worldwide acclaim and changes the way stories are told and it’s epic and beautiful and I’m all for it, and go Q.T.
But there’s something to be said about getting your foot in the door, no matter what. Just some good-old-fashioned breaking in, and earning a living in the land of Hollywood. Once you’re in and established, then you can break that wheel, so-to-speak, hopefully not Khaleesi-style.
What I’m saying is, be the wheel.
Find out what the market wants, what’s in high demand, and deliver on that.
