Bullet pointing this. Every year, the industry changes. How you made it as a writer in 2024 could be very in different in 2025. Streamers come, streamers go. Studio movies are back. Indies are dead. Now they’re alive again… ok, I said I was going to bullet point my ways, so here goes nothing:

1. Write a holiday movie.

   Why? Because there’s a massive demand for them. Netflix makes holiday movies, Lifetime now does too. And Hallmark. And every streamer. So write what’s in demand. Don’t want to write a Christmas movie idea or don’t have one? No worries. It was an idea.
